Then the most important thing to do is discuss how much you want to spend. That may seem a bit blunt but in our experience it is the most important thing to get right from the start, so that there are no misunderstandings. We can give you an indicative price for planning work depending on the size of the project but once you have a plan, our quotations are free and we can be sure that it will be within your budget!

We are happy to both plan your project or work from other peoples plans such as other landscape designers or landscape architects. The advantage there is that your plans are being carried out by people who understands the design process and able to interpret what the designer wants and then make it happen!

The first stage of the planning process is to view the property with the clients and find out what their aspirations are. This would normally take us about an hour and if a couple is involved we have found it most important to have all people concerned there at the onset. Once we know what is wanted then we can do a site measure and start getting all the existing features mapped out onto paper. If you have house plans we can help you site the house on the property for maximum benefit to the landscape.

There are two stages that garden plans can be taken to

Concept Plans

These plans define the whole project showing existing features ,define the areas to be developed, identifying service areas, views, indoor outdoor flow, paths, driveways, garden features all set out so that we know where everything goes

Planting Plans

These plans show the plant types in the locations that give them the space they need and are carefully arrange to give the best effect for color, foliage and soil type. These plans are only necessary if you wish to plant them yourself and we can supply the plants for you to do this.
